Chloe requested that we post before pics. I am embarrassed by this photo but I will put it up. Yes, that is a roll around my waist. Not a keg yet but at close to a pony keg! I look poofy!
In other news, I had another great 5K race over the weekend. My besties, Nic and Den, ran the Cherry Creek Sneak 5K with me on Sunday. Den ran on his own and kicked total butt! Nic and I ran together and we had such a great time that we forgot we were racing. We just ran our little hearts out while talking about our recent life adventures. Before we knew it we were done and had run the race in a time of 31:46. Sweet! That was our conversational pace! I bet we could totally kick butt if we actually ran hard! We are going to test that theory real soon! FYI, this is a really good pace for me at altitude! My asthma didn't bother me at all. Love that!

Sounds like a great program!! Good Job on your 5k!
ReplyDeleteHurray for clean eating and measurable progress!
ReplyDeleteYou know there are so many women that would give a lot of things to have the body you have now! So, while it may not be what you want now, you are still a hot mama! Excited for your progress! Congrats on the 5k... that's a great pace! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat job christi! You do look great already--I can't wait to see the end result!
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of the program. You sound excited about it so now I must read your first post that I missed about it.
ReplyDeleteYou look great in the photo! And congrats on the 5k, you are strong!
Great start to the new Christi, congratulations on the loss! Great job on the race, too.
ReplyDeleteGreat start! You are having all sorts of awesome race success lately too!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the Clean Eating--I'm feeling better since cleaning up my eating (and I've only cleaned it up a tad compared to what you're doing!).
ReplyDeleteThis is so exciting - I just bought healthier foods and I'm contemplating diving into the clean eating - I am getting too fat (even though I'm skinny) I'm fat-skinny! and it sucks
ReplyDeleteHA HA HA I don't give a crap what you eat. :) LOL Kudos for putting up a pic. :) U R awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteGo Christi!
ReplyDeleteWay to go Christi, you'll be at your goal before you know it. For yourself, you might want to record some measurements as well, so in a couple of months you can gloat on how many inches you've lost, and complain about having to go out and buy new clothes. :-)
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion you don't need to lose weight.
ReplyDeleteA great way to run a race: running, talking and enjoying the event.
