Day 4 of Clean Eating Jumpstart
Workout for Wednesday:
1. 15 min run as a warm-up before lifting. I kept the pace slow and just worked on getting my form correct. (Total calories burned 177)
2. After my run I did legs and back. Damn, I forgot how much I love donkey kicks! Tighten those glutes!
(Total calories burned 226)
3. My second cardio workout of the day was supposed to be my speed workout. Unfortunately, my fatigue is catching up with me and I was not able to do the workout. I did get another 10 mins of running completed so I did get a total of 25 mins running. I will take that! (Total calories burned 105)
Weight today is 143.4 for a loss of 0 lbs.
Other Observations:
1. I was hungrier today so I added a third snack in the evening. I had string cheese. Not much but it did get me through til this morning.
2. Despite some weight loss my shorts are still too tight. I gotta lose some more or go buy shorts. Whoops can't buy shorts. I have no money! I better lose some more weight!
3. This weekend is supposed to be very nice. I am looking forward to a long ride on Sunday! YAY! If anyone wants to join me, just hit me up!
I will leave you with a pic from my home town 5K. I always concentrate so hard when I am running. I look ridiculous!

Good job on keeping with the program! Don't worry so much about the number--it will come! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how different weight ranges. Even at my skinniest, I haven't been in the low 140's. It's all about muscle tone and definition. Keep donkey kickin' hot stuff! :0
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your bike ride this weekend
ReplyDeleteLove the photo!! Great workouts and Sticking with the program. I'm sure you'll see and feel changes soon :)
ReplyDeleterunning pictures are the worst. :) Keep your head up, and chin up, and keep going. :)
ReplyDeleteI know unemployed is a tough thing. Nice having a schedule of having to do this here and there.
Have a nice evening. I will be having my first Coors Lite night of the year. :) I tend to drink heavier stuff in the cold weather. :)
Have a good one. :)
Cheers and enjoy a cold one for me!
DeleteEither you're way out ahead, or you're from a really small hometown. Coffeville? I think that's what you said once. Nice pic. I like a focused runner.
ReplyDeleteYep, I am from the small town of Coffeyville. I believe there were about 30 to 40 people total in the race. Gotta love small races!
DeleteEnjoy your ride on Sunday!!! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteCan't ride this weekend but what you think about maybe shooting for next weekend?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait til I have the baby so I can go for a LONG ride with you someday!
ReplyDeleteAnd I think my family is already sold on Rock the Parkway next year; we all had such a great time and it is such a well organized event. You should do it!
PS-All my running pics suck. :)
Trust me, you don't look ridiculous, you look fast with a perfect style of running.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your bike ride.

ReplyDeleteFINALLY, I have no training plan for the first time in over a year. I'd love to come down and get some bike/run time with you!
ReplyDeleteJust let me know when and I will train with ya!
DeleteGreat job with your clean eating Jump Start. Keep at it and the pounds will come off. I sure wish candy was considered clean eating.
ReplyDeleteI have no good race pics. None. Well, ok, maybe one, in retrospect, but I didn't like it when I first saw it. In my mind's eye, a see a flowing, smooth as an can be, gazelle. In reality (i.e., a race pic)I am just lumbering along...
ReplyDeleteYes weight is important, but not as important as clothes. I love that your shorts are a measure for you too. I know what size feels good, it usually corresponds with a weight number too, but if the clothes fit, I am less concerned with the number. Best of luck, keep up the hard work!
ReplyDeleteyou're doing great! I hope you are depriving yourself. I feel bad eating chocolate while reading this ;) and I think you look determined while racing
