- Cherry Creek 5 miler
- Buena Vista Metric Century
- Elephant Rock 65 miler ride
- Denver Century
Let' see what else... Well, I believe that I am on a running streak. I ran 7 straight days last week. Wow, that is very unusual for me. My body doesn't cooperate well when I do that but so far I am doing okay. I think I will keep on that path until the body says stop!
Easter was a pretty good day for the family. We didn't get to go anywhere because my boys are sick so I made Shepard's Pie, which by the way they were not too sick to eat the whole pan. Then we had a "Blade" marathon. Yes, we like to watch horror movies on Easter. I don't know why but this is not the first time we have done this. I guess we are just crazy that way.
That's all I have for today but I will leave you with a Reba pic since I haven't done that in awhile. Yes, she is getting very big!

Great job with your running! Keep it up, but remember to rest too. :) Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHope everyone feels better soon. Good luck with training for all those races. Sweet pooch pic!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all the races! And congrats on the running streak.
ReplyDeleteI love your pup! She is getting so big!
Wow, awesome running! Way to go!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd how exciting about the races...you are going to do great!
Cute pic of your puppy..not so little anymore!
That is a lot of run days in a row. I am running tonight, and that will make it one day in a row. ;)
ReplyDeleteNIce running streak,
ReplyDeleteI love to see races your signed up for!!! SOme great rides coming soon
You would love our rides. One of these years, you must come out and visit and do some of them!
DeleteYou are gonna be so strong on the bike!!! And look how much Reba has grown!
ReplyDeleteBuena Vista Century looks mighty enticing!
ReplyDeleteCute dog! Very cute! Sounds like you have some good races on the horizon.
ReplyDeleteAwww, puppy is so cute :).
ReplyDeleteI'm doing CC Sneak. Let's try to get together if you can?!?!
I'm pretty sure I won't do ER, just cuz I'm wiped out of cash right now :(.
Nic, Den and I are doing CC Sneak. I am doing the 5 miler. Which one are you doing? We will certainly meet up with ya!
DeleteYou've got a nice array of bike events lined up and capped off by the Big Daddy - Triple Bypass! Woo-hoo! No Copper Triangle this year??? Reba is indeed growing up - losing her little puppy look - but still so cute - and oh, that face! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I am doing Copper Triangle. I just haven't signed up for it yet!
DeleteReba is so sweet. Lots of saddle time for you coming up. I will reconsider the Denver Century. I still plan on doing the ER Century so I better get myself on the saddle. Great running!
ReplyDeleteMondays no matter - are always my least favorite day of the week. As the Boomtown Rats (Bob Geldof) said once - "I want to shoot the whole day down ..." Not really of course. Yet, I could do without most of them.
ReplyDeleteSorry you guys had sickness too! Those races all look great! My running streaks last for 2 days, I need a day off in between or else I fall apart : )
ReplyDeleteMmmm, shephard's pie - the ultimate in comfort food! Nice job on the running and the event sign ups.
ReplyDeleteI'm starting to think about races for the summer into the Fall. So many races, so little time....
So glad you are doing the Denver Century! I would love to do that ride up in Buena Vista sometime! I think it is beautiful up there! Your going to have a great year!
ReplyDeleteYour dog TOTALLY has a sweet face! I want one.
ReplyDeleteAnd you should have put the video for Manic Monday up. :^)
fun schedule you have!
ReplyDeleteI am hopefully doing the 5 mile Cherry Creek Sneak - just waiting for permission from Darren.
I would strongly recommend pre-riding parts of The Triple course as part of your prep. The ride up Squaw Pass is a doozey and then the ride to Loveland Pass is looong and hard! If you want company - I'd be willing to play tour guide and ride with you after May 20th. :)
Will make sure I ride those areas. Thanks for the advice!
DeleteCongrats on signing up for all those events! I would really love to do a century, but I have to get in way more bike miles first. Right now the longest ride I've done is 46 miles.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!
DeleteI'm not allowed to run two days in a row right now :( 7 days in a row is dreamy!
ReplyDeleteI shouldn't be running that many days in a row either! I just decided to see if anything has changed. Guess what, it hasn't!
DeleteI hope that your boys feel good now. Is the Shepard's Pie a good cure?
ReplyDeleteI have never run 7 days in a row but .... I have rested 7 days in a row!!!!
how did I miss this cutie??? love the pup :D
