Clean Eating Jumpstart
Good morning y'all! I wanted to fill you in on my latest adventure. I have gotten really bad with my eating again. I have started eating a lot of crap! But one day on Facebook I saw an opportunity. Chloe Gibbs, a facebook friend, was offering 10 people the chance to jumpstart their eating habits by offering Shakeology shakes and a clean eating guide. I wasted no time in raising my hand! I saw the chance to again remind myself of the benefits of clean eating and lose the weight the I have been packing on, all 146.8 lbs of me. I am almost at the weight I was when I was pregnant with my son. Not good!
However, Chloe, has given me the chance to change that and today was day one! For the next 10 days I will be following the diet plan she provided and exercising as I always have. Well, with one alteration. I will be getting to the gym again to swim and weight lift. I am getting back on track. I will document my adventure here and hope that all y'all will provide me with the support I need to get back to skinny. Whoops, I mean lean and fit! And if you are feeling in need of help. Please take a look of what Chloe has to offer!
FYI, I had a great 5K in my hometown. I was "this" close to a PR and I got second place in my age group! I will post of pic of my medal as soon as it arrives! Gotta love small hometown races!

Woo-hoo for getting back on track! Lean and fit is the way to go - that way you can get in those skinny jeans.... except I can't wear those skinny jeans because of my muscular bottom (ahem) and legs - those skinny legged jeans just don't fit! Do you have that??? Congrats on coming "this" close to your 5k PR - you should feel encouraged by this based on the fact that you aren't in the shape you want to be. Just think what will happen once you are lean and mean again??? Get after that hard work - it will pay off! :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds great, Christi!! I'd love a clean eating jumpstart myself. I've been doing pretty well, but am curious about whether I could get a few more pounds off....
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 5K! Obviously you're not being slowed down much. :^)
I've had good luck with the Shakeology. When I just eat clean - the max I can lose is 1lb a week. With Shakeology - I can double that to 2lbs a week. I'm sure you'll have good success with it!
ReplyDeleteexcellent job with the 5K!
ReplyDeleteI've been slipping on the eating thing too. Definitely there for you supporting both the eating and the pool goals.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your race. Why is the medal coming?
ReplyDeleteYou can absolutely steal my bike picture idea. I will love seeing yours.
